Belantara was established to foster sustainable landscape management across vulnerable regional biomes, treating forests as connected systems rather than isolated green patches.

Belantara is guided by scientific oversight, multi-stakeholder governance, and transparent accountability. Our work integrates community stewardship into formal habitat protection strategies, so that restored forests and the people who depend on them can both endure.

Decisions begin with understanding what is happening on the land. By weighing ecological condition alongside local livelihoods, we aim to build conservation that holds up over time and that communities recognize as their own.
